.@Jonathan_Fildes returns to @SEAT_Supercup thanks to @FinnstownDublin #msirl

Jonathan Fildes will return to the SEAT Supercup Ireland this weekend courtesy of Finnstown Castle Hotel, the luxury County Dublin country estate teaming up with the talented driver for the highlight of the Irish motor racing calendar – the Leinster Trophy meeting at Mondello Park. Having made an immediate impact on the Leon Supercopa based championship when he secured pole position for Round 5, on what was to be a one off outing, the Dunshaughlin driver will again get behind the wheel of Murray Motorsport’s 2015 championship winning car. Fildes’ link up with Finnstown Castle Hotel will make for a busy weekend for the multiple champion as the backing from the period estate nestled on 45 magnificent acres of woodland in Lucan will also see him race for the prestigious Leinster Trophy in a Ralt Formula Atlantic single seater.

A driver who has honed his highly rated talents behind the wheel of a car to establish himself as a successful precision driver on movies, Fildes is delighted to have been given the opportunity to get back behind the wheel of the 301 bhp SEAT Sport built Leon. Having just returned from Birmingham where he was working on Steven Spielberg’s latest blockbuster Ready Player One, he said, ‘I can’t thank Finnstown Castle Hotel enough for making this possible. I’m really excited about working with Murray Motorsport again and I hope we can put on a good show for Finnstown and their guests on the day’. Having finished 2nd on his SEAT debut back in June, which was also on Mondello’s international circuit, Fildes will be hoping to go one better this time round.
As well as backing Fildes in the No.23 Leon, Finnstown Castle Hotel will also be the presenting sponsor of Rounds 11 & 12 of the SEAT Ireland backed SEAT Supercup, with the winner of the season’s final race getting to experience the picturesque settings with an overnight stay for two in one of the hotel’s suites.
