Fenton Returns to Supercars for Brands Hatch Finale

Greystones racer Cameron Fenton is poised to make a return to the Irish Supercars Powered By Pirelli series this weekend at the famous Formula Ford Festival Event at Brands Hatch.
Fenton starred in the series in 2018, losing out on the title due to a mechanical failure mid season and an accident at the penultimate round at Mondello Park.
Fenton has been invite to compete at the event by series organisers ASK Racing and will drive a car recently rebuilt by the North Dublin based team.

Having not raced in the class this year, Fenton won’t we worried about championship points and is aiming for victory at the historic Kent circuit.

Cameron Fenton “I won here twice in this class in 2018, so all going well I can do the same again. I would like to thank Alan Kessie for offering me the drive. The Formula Ford Festival is such a famous event and it is an honour to drive at it. Hopefully I can replay Alan and the ASK Team with a couple of wins again!”

About The Irish Supercar Championship Powered By Pirelli:
In 2015, ASK Racing introduced a new series to Irish Motorsport, the ASK Supercar Championship, now known as the Irish Supercar Championship – Powered by Pirelli.
The series runs the former RT2000/Supercar spaceframe machines, powered by 2000cc Zetec engines. The SHP built spaceframe machines formed the basis of the RT2000/Supercar class, which arguably produced some of the best racing ever seen in Ireland.
As well as racing at Mondello Park in Kildare, the series visits both Kirkistown and Bishopscourt in Northern Ireland and Brands Hatch in Kent in the UK. Drivers also have the option of competing in non championship events at circuits around the UK and Europe.
