Team DOLAN Entertain At Oulton Park

Team Dolan helped provide exciting FF1600 racing at Oulton Park over the weekend, with team driver Ross Martin winning final Formula Ford race of the day.
Round Two of the Avon Tyres BRSCC National Formula Ford Championship featured a qualifying session
and two races combined into one day of racing at the historic Oulton Park that has seen many a great
battle.
All four drivers qualified out of position, however all the drivers except Max Marzorati had prior
experience that would prove invaluable around the twisting circuit. Ross Martin started the first race on
the second row of the grid and with stiff competition around him he knew he needed to finish both races
high in the points. Meanwhile, Jamie Sharp, Morgan Quinn and Max Marzorati all raced well and battled
hard to bring home points and gain seat time with Ross earning second place on the podium as a National win continued to elude him.
Race two witnessed a five-way battle for the race win with Ross Martin leading, but being forced to drive defensively for much of the race. However, when two of his main protagonists collided with each other they provided him with an excellent opportunity to extend his lead to cross the line two seconds ahead of second place.
Local driver Jamie Sharp failed to finish the race due to a technical issue caused while avoiding the spinning Jonathan Browne.

Morgan Quinn raced well throughout the weekend and performed an excellent ‘Mansell Double Shuffle’ to move up the field and Max Marzorati, who had never been to Oulton Park before this weekend raced well and picked up some well-deserved points.

Team Dolan will compete at the next round in Anglesey, North Wales on June 8/9 and the team’s driver line up for that round will be announced ahead of the event.
