Irish Motorsport TV- the Naas Court Hotel Fiesta 6 Hour

The Fiesta 6 Hour race has been running for a number of years now and is hugely popular with drivers and fans alike. Running after the race season has ended, many do it just for a bit of fun- but as many again take it extremely seriously!

Some of the top drivers from many different classes are always on the grid and they have been joined on occasion by stars from international GT racing, the BTCC and even ex F1 drivers. Strategy is hugely important, but taking it easy and staying out of trouble means you won’t get near the frontrunners, who push hard for the entire duration. In 2018, for the first time, the event was televised. The Naas Court Hotel, who also ran a team comprising Michael and Karl Leonard, alongside Erik Holstein, came onboard to sponsor the coverage. There was drama before the race began, as some of the guys at the sharp end of the grid missed the window to leave the pitlane, earning themselves an earful from an official into the bargain. If you think they might be strung out at the end of 6 hours, think again. It went all the way down to the wire and there was more drama in the dying minutes.
