Roe Hopes To Salvage US Season with Top Three Championship Finish

With just two venues and four races left, Ireland’s James Roe Jr. has his sights firmly set on a Top 3 season finish in his inaugural US racing season.

The former Ginetta Junior Ireland and FF1600 race winner has moved to US racing and with two wins and four F2000 podiums, Roe Jr. is currently 5th in the points, trailing fourth place by a single point and 3rd place by 11 points.

“I am really looking for strong results this weekend” said Roe Jr. “Since Pittsburgh we went to work on a number of things, mainly braking. We made some changes and I am confident that everything is back as it should be. Again, it will be a new track for me so I’m really excited! Hopefully two good results this weekend and then we have double points available at the last round. The championship is far from wrapped up!”

Rounds 11 and 12 of the F2000 Championship are August 24th – August 26th at Summit Point Motorsports Park
