Imokilly Stages Rally Launched!

The Media launch of the 2018 Imokilly Mini Stages took place last Friday night , with a large crowd turning out for the event, which was held at the Midleton Park Hotel.
The event, which  this year sponsored by Ollie Kierce Car Sales Carrigtwohill, is already creating huge interest with competitors saying they cannot wait for the biggest sporting event in East Cork this year .

Clerk of the Course for the event Emmet Cronin welcomed everyone to the event and said this year the rally has two new stages which the club have never used before. These are Inch and Mount Uniacke, described as drivers stages and are sure to test both driver and machine.
Emmet said “We are indebted to our main sponsor Ollie Kierce and all our sponsors for their continued financial support, we also depend hugely on the support of our neighbouring motorclubs for marshals to help run the event. The event is a huge tourist boost to the local area and there most likely won’t be a bed to be got in the Midleton area for the weekend of the rally!”
