10 race calendar confirmed for the Electric Production Car Series

Electric GT Holdings Inc. has confirmed a 10 race calendar for the all-new, zero-emission Electric Production Car Series (EPCS).
Commencing in Jerez (Spain) on November 3, the European rounds of the championship will also visit Paul Ricard (France), Nürburgring (Germany), Circuit Park Assen (The Netherlands), Silverstone (United Kingdom) and Algarve Portimao Circuit (Portugal). Additional race locations on other continents will be confirmed later this year.

Each race weekend, presented by Electric GT Holdings, will be a weekend-long festival of technology and innovation for sustainability, with racing at its heart. The wheel-to-wheel action of the EPCS main event will be supported by the eKarting Series and the eSports Series: a ground-breaking new virtual racing platform.

All competing teams will also take to the track at Electric GT Holdings race HQ at Pau E-Circuit in the South of France this October for a pre-season practice round, behind closed doors.

A limited number of general entry tickets to the opening round of the championship in Jerez, Spain will be complimentary for fans who register for tickets on the Electric GT website.

Electric GT is currently in open discussions with several investors to close the first institutional fundraising round and complete the project’s financing before its definitive launch this autumn.

Mark Gemmell, CEO Electric GT Holdings, said: “This is a very exciting day for all of us who have worked so hard behind the scenes to prepare for our inaugural season. Without a doubt, we have secured some of the most exciting European tracks for our first season of the Electric Production Car Series and this gives us a great platform to further expand the championship.

“We have received a great deal of interest from circuits around the world excited by the possibilities that electric racing brings. We’ve got lots more news to come very soon. I’m stoked about the future, and we are all looking forward to bringing elbows-out electric racing action to fans around the world.”
