Mondello Park Announce 6 Hour Fiesta Endurance Race for February

Following on from the tremendous success of the third Fiesta Endurance Race at Mondello Park, the circuit management have decided to run another one in February, to the delight of the entire motor racing community, and plenty from other motorsport disciplines too.
They had mooted a three race 6 Hour Championship during the year, but the reluctance of the teams to pay the entry up front, and the general opinion that the end of season event was a special race and best as a one off, the concept was binned. After the incredible success and brilliant feedback from the recent event though, they have had a rethink and today announced February the 18th as the next 6 Hour Event.
For the most part, the 1.25 Zetec engined Fiestas have no problem completing the distance with only a few small niggles stopping a handful of cars from taking the flag at the end of the last event. Also, to the delight of the clubman racers, some of the quickest drivers in the country are generally on the grid, giving them an opportunity to go head to head with them. Cars change hands for as little as €2,000 so if you haven’t already got one, now is the time to start searching Donedeal! Can LOH win again, will Murray Motorsport take the honours , will it be Kellett Motorsport or even a new and unknown team? Who knows!!
Entries open immediately and Mondello want at least 20 by the end of December, with payment due by the end of February- so what are you waiting for- get your team together, grab a race Fiesta- there are almost 50 race prepared ones out there, and ask Santa Claus for a set of Yokos and some brake pads. Then just click HERE to enter!
