Vertical Racing Celebrates Best Season to Date in 2017
2017 had been an incredible season for Vertical Racing, with David Parks winning both the Northern Irish and Irish National Formula Sheane Championship as well as the Holmpatrick Trophy. Team mate Leslie Shaw also won the Formula Sheane Scholarship series. The team are quick to pay thanks to team principal Robbie Parks for preparing amazing championship winning cars and also to Andrew Murphy for all his work at the race weekends- without them it wouldn’t have been possible. Vertical Racing is also hugely appreciative of the supoort of their commercial sponsors as they really are the backbone of the team! A big thanks to WR SHAW , PORTUMNA AGRI , PORTUMNA MARINE , VERTICAL ACCESS and CORCORAN’S CRASH REPAIRS.
It wasn’t just a successful season in Formula Sheane, it was also a successful season for Rob Parks in the Ginetta Junior Ireland class with multiple podiums and a 4th place finish in the championship-two positions higher than last year .
Gary Corcoran made a seriously impressive impression on his entrance to the Irish Supercar Powered by Pirelli class with multiple podiums and some amazing battles, providing great entertainment or all the spectators ,fans and of course for the Vertical Racing team .
Although the season has ended it isn’t over just yet , there are some special events coming up that the Vertical Racing team will be competing in , including the Ford Fiesta 6hr Endurance Race in Mondello Park in October and the world famous Formula Ford Festival in Brands Hatch- also in October .
