Trackdays.ie Continue to Fill The Gap
Former Veester Stephen Kershaw and sometime Future Classic racer Rob King are both instructors at Mondello Park. The duo spotted a gap in the market for a different type of trackday and decided to set up Trackdays.ie
The concept has been a huge success, with their most recent event having been booked out, with a reserve list- so they must be doing something right! So, what is the difference between their days and a common or garden trackday? Well support for one. Their website includes sections such as Beginners Guide, Setup Advice, Circuit Guides and Trackday Advice. This support continues onto the days themselves, where both Stephen and Rob are keep to help out their customers with pointers and advice. They have also invested in a fleet of track prepared Honda Civics and these can be rented for a day, or even a session, with an instructor included- which is not only beneficial to those looking to sharpen their on track skills, it gives prospective race drivers a taste of what to expect in a fully caged, race prepped car- something that was not previously available! They also hire a photographer for the day, with images subsequently available free to customers- eliminating the need for social media pleadings “Has anyone got pictures of car number such and such?”
Their next event is on September the 4th and is likely to be booked up very quickly, as many race drivers will want to grab the chance to get laps on the 3.5km International Circuit ahead of the Leinster Trophy race meeting later that month. As ever though, you don’t have to be a race driver- if you bring your own car down, you can do a session on track for an incredible €30! What are you waiting for?

Back for their 6th event on September the 4th, Trackdays.ie return to Mondello Park on their extremely challenging FULL International circuit. To take part all you need is a drivers license and to be over 18. No special equipment or car modifications are required. You will need a helmet but they will be available to hire on the day.
The track day is split into two sessions with lunch provided in-between.
Morning Session:
10.00am to 1.00pm
Afternoon Session:
2.00pm to 5.30pm
There will be a safety briefing and familiarisation session for all newcomers in the morning and afternoon sessions & no previous track experience is necessary.
