Triumphant Battle for @JackKennedy14 & @Profile_Racing at Donington #UKworldSBK

Jack Kennedy continued to impress as stand in rider for Profile Racing in a race long battle with his team mate, Luke Stapleford, to bring it home in 5th position at the UK Round of the World Supersport Championship.
After the initial race was red flagged due to oil on the track, the re-started race was slightly shortened to 13 laps. The leading five of Sofuoglu, Mahais, Cluzel, Stapleford and Kennedy were the only riders to drop into the 1:30’s zone and quickly pulled a gap on the remainder of the field. Once Sofuoglu broke away, it was two way battles for 2nd and 4th positions with the Profile racing team mates fighting for fourth place that lasted until the chequered flag.

Luke and Jack swapped places several times with Jack making a pass on the inside of the old hairpin making it stick only for Luke to return the favour shortly after. The pair continued to push each other hard, dicing and looking every which way to make a move on each other. With four laps to go, Jack rode around the outside into Foggy’s but on the penultimate lap, Stapleford took back fourth place and held onto it until the flag.
Jack “P5 – Really enjoyable race & happy to make a good step forward here at Donny. Thanks Profile Racing for the opportunity & everyone for your support✊🏼”
