Eddie Jordan amongst Sean Edwards Foundation Memorial Bike Ride Participants

Today, Tuesday the 23rd of May 2017, The Sean Edwards Foundation hosted the 4th Annual Memorial Bike Ride. Drivers, Cyclists and Celebrities gathered in front of the Grimaldi forum where they were interviewed and discussed their views about Safety in Motorsport and the Sean Edwards Foundation. The Bike Ride begun at 10am and the riders set off towards Mad Men Café in Ventimiglia through the streets of Monaco.

Sean’s friends and fellow drivers who rode in his remembrance and in support of the foundation that carries his name, were David Coulthard, Eddie Jordan, Stoffel Vandoorne, Ian Khan, Jerome D’ambrosia, Brendon Hartley, Chris Beckerman, Francesco Castellacci, Maro Engel, Andreas Mikkelsen, Cyrille Sauvage, James Rossiter, Chris Buncombe, Mathiews Chris, Arne Graee, Damion Berger, Eliot Challifour, Daniel primer, Malcolm Jacotine, Stuart Newby.

SEF has continued to honour Sean since it was established in 2014 and works tirelessly towards making vital educational changes for driver and circuit safety where Sean lost his life.

Current Initiatives include the introduction of the Sean Edwards Test in Championships across Motorsport Championships and its application into Marshal Training, Customer & Track Days and Road Safety Educational Programs for children.

The Memorial Bike Ride in honour of Sean has successfully raised awareness for the need for Safety Education in Motorsport and road safety.
