Motorsport Ireland/Sport Ireland Young Driver of The Year, Cian Carey heads to his second F3 weekend a Snetterton this weekend with just one aim- to win.
Having smashed the lap record at Donington Park at the opening rounds of the Uk F3 Cup series, Cian has shown that he has the pace to run at the very front of the field. His CDR team have made some adjustments to the clutch of his Dallara machine which will hopefully eliminate the issue which hampered Cian off the line over the Donington weekend. With a non finish in the second race of three at Donington Park, the reigning BOSS Ireland Champion is currently sixth in the title standings and is keen to improve on this with a strong showing at the Snetterton 200 circuit this weekend.
Cian Carey, Motorsport Ireland Young Driver of The Year:
“I can’t wait to get back in the car this weekend. At the opening meeting, the team gave me a great car and we were right on the pace. I don’t expect that to change this weekend- but I want to win this time!”
