On The Road- IVVCC Festival Of Transport Welcomes Individuals and Non Affiliated Clubs

As the umbrella organisation for the classic car scene in Ireland, the IVVCC has almost 70 clubs affiliated to it- the majority of which will be represented at the inaugural Festival of Transport in Punchestown on Sunday next May 14th.
Speaking about the show, IVVCC President Shane Hoilihan was keen to point out the show is open to all classic car owners and not just IVVCC affiliates or members; “ we have this amazing facility which can display in excess of 1,000 cars and we want to fill it. We already have confirmed attendance from non-affiliate clubs and individuals and it’s important for individual classic car owners in particular to know they’re welcome”.
The show is open to on-the-day arrivals and classic car owners can simply turn up between 7am and 10am and pay the €10 admission for a driver and car and display their vehicles.
The event opens to the public from 10 am to 5pm and admission is €10.00 for adults with children going free. In addition to the cars, motorcycles and steam engines on display, there will be over 40 trade & autojumble stands along with face painting, ballooning and rides for the children.
