The 2017 ASK Supercar Championship Announces Pirelli As Title Sponsor And Releases
Dates For 2017 Championship Rounds.

ASK Racing heads into 2017 with huge plans for the ASK Supercar Championship. We are
soon to announce PIRELLI as our title sponsor for the 2017 and 2018 championship as
part of a two year partnership. The class of driving throughout the 2016 championship has
heightened the interest for the upcoming season. We will have new drivers join the ASK
Supercar Championship in 2017, many who have purchased Supercars and begun testing.
A further announcement will be made in the coming weeks but initial signs are good
for a rise in Grid sizes as the very competitive class grows in strength and stature.

The Tool Dynamics Supercar Championship came to an end this September in Mondello
Park for the Leinster Trophy Race meeting. As the top three drivers were separated by
only a few points going into the final event, impressive drives came from both Sam Moffett and Peter Barrable who took pole for both races. Unfortunatly a mechanical failure halted Peter’s charge. Sam Moffett was clearly quicker than Andy O’Brien in the last few laps but couldn’t get passed. Andy O’Brien kept a clear lead and took the final win in 2016 Championship and took the Chequered Flag and championship title for the Tool Dynamics Supercar Championship in 2016.

The provisional dates for the 2017 championship have been released with the addition of
two extra championship races. The 2017 ASK Supercar Championship will be adding
Brands Hatch to it’s championship counting rounds, with 12 rounds counting out of the total, 14. So while we add a weekend we give a bit more room should a driver miss an event. We have also added the Brands Hatch circuit in response to drivers wishes to visit more International circuits.
