.@CebuPacificAir by @PRT_Racing aims to repeat Formula Masters victory at Zhuhai

After enjoying a dominant debut in Shanghai, Cebu Pacific Air by PRT hopes to repeat their victory as the Formula Masters China Series (FMCS) heads to the Zhuhai International Circuit this June 18 – 19. The weekend will also be Thomas Swift’s first outing with the squad who’ll drive alongside Nicholas Rowe and Kim Jeong Tae.
Swift moves up to FMCS after a successful season in Asian Formula Renault last year, scoring several podium finishes in his class. The 17-year-old driver from Hong Kong started karting in 2011 before switching to single seaters in 2014. He now joins Cebu Pacific Air by PRT piloting the team’s third car.
As for Nicholas Rowe and Kim Jeong Tae, both drivers are eager to get back behind the wheel and challenge for potential podium spots on Zhuhai’s 4.3 km circuit.
Rowe now leads the Drivers’ Championship with his two race wins in Shanghai while Kim Jeong Tae holds onto third place. This gives Cebu Pacific Air by PRT a points advantage in the Team Classification as it heads to the Formula Masters’ second event.
Accompanying Cebu Pacific Air by PRT on their FMCS campaign are partners Cebu Pacific Air, Teng Tools, and P1 Racewear.
Nicholas Rowe: “I had an almost perfect weekend in Shanghai, securing two pole positions and two race wins. I hope to carry this strong performance to Zhuhai and maintain my lead in the championship. We’re also looking forward to race alongside our new teammate Thomas.
Kim Jeong Tae: “Scoring my very first victory in Formula Masters last month gave me a big confidence boost to do even better. I will give my best in Zhuhai and aim for podium finishes.”
Thomas Swift: “I am very excited to enter Formula Masters with one of the best teams on the grid. This is a great opportunity for me to learn from their talented driver coaches and engineers, giving me the right tools to progress in my motorsport career.”
