Butler’s SEAT Supercup campaign receives magic boost

Following a strong start to the season in the high profile SEAT Supercup Ireland, Rob Butler has received a further boost to his rookie campaign with the securing of backing from Dentmagic for the rest of the 2016 season. With the double podium finisher & Round 3 pole sitter having used the opening four SEAT races to highlight the recent charity track day Fundracer, which successfully raised €18,000 for Autism Action Ireland, Butler’s new partnership with Ireland’s largest dent removal company will hit the track for the first this weekend at Rounds 5 & 6 of the championship in Mondello Park.
Driving for reigning SEAT Supercup team champions Murray Motorsport, Butler’s deal with Dentmagic will see the Dublin based paintless dent repair company become the headline sponsor of the 24-year-old’s #74 Leon Supercopa. Commenting on his backing from the company that operates nationwide as well as internationally, and which has been servicing the motor industry for over 20-years, Butler said, ‘I’m delighted to welcome Dentmagic onboard and securing their support is a great reflection on the profile of the SEAT Supercup’. The former international karting star continued, ‘The timing of the deal worked out so well. I was able to put my car to good use highlighting a great event like Fundracer and now that that has taken place for this year I have been able to join forces with Dentmagic in a deal that secures my place on the grid for the rest of the season’. Seeking to register his first win of the SEAT Ireland backed championship when it enjoys it’s first outing of 2016 on the Co. Kildare racetrack’s international circuit, the multiple Irish Touring Car race winner added, ‘The championship is getting more competitive each race with Jonathan Fildes the latest heavy hitter to come onboard so winning is only getting tougher. I’m getting to know the car better & better and I have the extra incentive this weekend of trying to impress my new sponsors, so the target is to win one of Sunday’s races. I’ve got two shots at it’.
In addition to the announcement of Dentmagic as his new title sponsor, Butler’s SEAT will also feature new branding from Imeka Cars. Specialists in car imports directly from Japan, the company initially supported the Navan driver in being able to run his Supercopa race car at Fundracer where passenger rides helped raise funding for the Austim charity. Following the success of the May 27th event, Imeka Cars have decided to continue to support Butler in his SEAT Supercup title quest.
