Formula Vee Star headed for Race of Champions- VOTE NOW

Irish Formula Vee racer Des Foley has had an incredible rookie year in Irish Motorsport, winning the Finol Star of Tomorrow Championship and battling right at the front in the National Championship with seasoned veterans. He is poised to end 2015 in style by competing with his F1 heroes at the Race of Champions in London next month, but he needs your help.
Des is one of 10 drivers selected for the ROC Factor, a competition where lesser known drivers get the chance to compete at the Race of Champions event in London. A public vote is now under way and you can help Des win a place at the event by voting for him at the link HERE

Foley started his career in a virtual sense when he became a champion on the Playstation, winning the UK & IrelandDes2 portion of the Nissan GT Academy back in 2012. He went to finish as a runner up at Race Camp in Silverstone at the European finals. In 2013/14, Des worked in the industry as a Photographer and Videographer for racing teams internationally, and it wasn’t until this year that he got back behind the wheel to go racing properly. A fantastic season with Leastone Racing in Formula Vee, a successful Formula Ford test with Morgan Dempsey and a few races in the Leastone F1000 at Oulton Park rounded of an exceptional first year of racing for the Carlow man.
“For 2016 the plan is to go racing in the UK – I’ve already got a great group of people around me working to make this happen and as soon as I have it set in stone I’ll let you know what I’m doing. For now the focus is to qualify for this amazing prize. I’m very grateful to everyone that has helped so far – It’s a one off opportunity that I don’t want to miss out on, so I’d really appreciate your vote”
The competition closes this Friday (6th November).
