Gem Oils Team Up with Formula Vee racer Aimee Woods

Aimee Woods, from Dromiskin in County Louth, has attracted backing from Gem Oils for her Formula Vee campaign. The single seater novice races an Irish built Leastone chassis in the budget single seater championship and also writes for wheelsforwomen.ie as well as working as a race instructor at the Mondello Park Race Experience. Aimee’s next race is at the famous Leinster Trophy meeting at Mondello Park this weekend.

Aimee Woods, 24, a Trinity graduate of Social Studies and Social Work is currently employed as a social worker. Having grown up in a family surrounded by Motorsport, her father Séan Woods still today runs his own race team from his Dromiskin base. From a young age, she always wanted to compete. Previous endeavours have included saloon car racing and various rallysprints, which have led her to the competitive Formula Vee class for 2015. She looks forward to the challenges of single-seater driving with her Leastone chassis.
