Lyons Set For Aston Martin Glory in Sepang – Motorsport.ie

With the preparation underway for his second endurance race in the space of a week, Richard Lyons continues in Asia with GTAsia and the Interush Craft Bamboo racing team in Sepang, Malaysia. This glorious F1 circuit will play host to GTAsia’s first endurance race in it’s series history, 3hrs of intense racing is expected in tough hot conditions around the 5.5Km track. Appearing on all steps of the podium in the past at Sepang this is a track Lyons feels at home with.

“I am returning this weekend to Sepang, Malaysia, to a track I really enjoy and have had reasonable success at. Although the last time I was here a few years ago has left me with memories of having to carry a wheel to the far side of the circuit at midnight to repair our car!! That was the Sepang 12hr and this time although only 3 hrs, its still going to be super hot and the competition will be strong. In the previous rounds luck has not been with us but we have put that behind us and come out with a fresh mind and a rebuilt car. Our team has worked long hours in preparation and we are all set to give it everything. Lets see whats in store…”
