Jack Kennedy Targets Top Ten Finish after scoring points at Brands Hatch

It’s fair to say both Jack and Team WD40 enjoyed a great weekend of racing at Brand Hatch GP with Jack scoring solid points finishes in both races and Tarran McKenzie winning the Stk 600 race.
In race one, starting from 18th on the grid, Jack was immediately in the mix of race long scraps. In a dramatic race that saw the safety car deployed twice due to separate crashes of both Easton and Byrne at Hawthorn Corner, Jack battled it out all race. With his bike running a little hot (which would not have had it at it’s peak performance), he did a terrific job to take the chequered flag in 14th position.
In race two, Jack went even better to put in another impressive performance and after a great start settled into a rhythm, once again battling it out for positions all race long. With the pace even hotter than race one, he was just pipped to the line by Jackson when a backmarker got in the way on the last corner- but still took his best finish of the season so far, in 12th position.
It really shows how much progress both Jack and the team have made in this hotly contested championship. Jack is feeling confident that they have turned the corner so he will be looking to consolidate this by breaking into the top ten next time out at Thruxton on August 2nd.
