In addition to his INDY NXT campaign with Chip Ganassi Racing, James Roe returns to IMSA competition this weekend for the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen at Watkins Glen International. Roe will co-drive the No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 alongside Scott Andrews and Lin Hodenius, looking to build on the team’s strong fourth-place finish at Sebring in March.
“Ready to get back to some sports car action this weekend,” said Roe. “Really enjoy the endurance races with the Lone Star guys and love driving the Mercedes AMG. Watkins Glen plays to our strengths and we’re optimistic about our chances for a podium.”
Qualifying streams live on Peacock Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET, with Sunday’s race airing flag-to-flag beginning at noon ET on Peacock. International viewers can watch via IMSA.TV and IMSA’s Official YouTube channel, while live radio coverage will be available throughout the weekend on SiriusXM channel 206.
