Nicole Drought Partners with Beacon Hospital Sports Lab to Race Stryker at Bishopscourt

2024 MSV TDC Champion Nicole Drought has announced a partnership with the Sports Lab in the Beacon Hospital in South Dublin, which will see her return to the Bill Griffin Motors Irish Stryker Championship this weekend at the high speed Bishopscourt circuit in County Down. Nicole does a lot of physical training both for her racing and for other challenges, including Hyrox International events and the Jeep Mondello 24 Hour Cycle race. She will shortly start a programme with the Sports Clinic, with the aim of monitoring and improving her physical performance.

The Roscrea racer is currently leading the 2025 TDC series, having taken pole, victory and fastest lap at the opening round at Snetterton and repeated the feat at Round Two at Silverstone in her Motion Motorsport EBC Brakes Racing Honda Civic EP3. She also took a podium finish in a one off EnduroKA race at Snetterton the same weekend.

She has previous experience in Irish Strykers and raced at Bishopscourt in 2018, taking a podium finish there on her first visit.

Nicole Drought: “We were looking for something to do in May or June because there is a two month break in my UK Championship schedule. Then the association with the Beacon Hospital Sports Lab came up. I have already been up there for a meeting and a look around. It is incredibly impressive and I can’t wait to get started.  The Beacon Stryker has been sitting up since last year but with LOH Motorsport looking after it, I won’t have any excuses! I’ll be aiming for the podium but I would love a win in Bishopscourt. Thanks to Michael Cullen and the Beacon Sports Lab for the opportunity!”
