Kerry Superbike rider Emmet O’ Grady took the honours at Mondello Park last Sunday and lifted the Eddie Reddy Memorial Trophy for the first time in his Career. It was a Lights to Flag victory for the Tralee based O’Grady over fourteen laps of Mondello’s National Track where he was followed home closely by Blessington Rider Derek Shiels with only three hundredths of a second separating them as they crossed the line.

Witnessed by a large crowd at the Kildare venue, O’ Grady was a very popular winner to say the least and posed for photos with fans and spectators long after the race was over. Peter Reddy presented Emmet with the Trophy on the Podium after the race along with the substantial prize fund which made the drive back to Kerry a lot easier Sunday evening. Congratulations to Emmett and his Tag Racing team on this recent success. Pictured below is Emmet O’ Grady leading Derek Shiels on the Final lap of the race. Also the Reddy Family and Friends who donated the prize fund for Race. Well done to all involved.
