Dublin based Alloy Repair Centre Sponsors 2024 Fiesta ST Championship

With the 2024 ICCR Motor Racing just a week away, Dublin based Alloy Repair Centre has been named as the new title sponsor of the Fiesta ST Championship.

The Fiesta ST Championship sits just above the popular entry level Zetec Fiesta Class on the ICCR bill. A 160bhp two litre engine makes them over five seconds a lap faster than their smaller engined stablemates. The entry comprises a mixture of youth and experience, with some of Ireland’s most successful drivers already registered for the 2024 Championship. Reigning Champion MIchael Cullen is joined on the grid by his old sparring partenr Mark Turley, who returns to motorsport after a long sabattical. Both though, will have to keep an eye on their mirrors as their sons Victor Cullen and Bobby Turley are also on the grid. Christopher Grimes Junior and Senior make it three father and son combinations within the class. Watch out too for Dundalk charger Kian O’Brien and the returning Ross Barnes, who is confident having acquired Graham McDonnell’s former title winning machine.

The Alloy Repair Centre, based in Cookstown Industrial Estate in Dublin is a sister company of the award winning Accident Repair Centre. They offer repair and refurbishment of any allow wheel using state of the art diamond cutting and powder coating processes.

Owen Cullen, MD Alloy Repair Centre: ““Vehicle refurbishment, paint repairs etc, is an important part of our business and in the past we subcontracted the refurbishment of alloy wheels. In November 2021, we took that work in-house with the establishment of our own Alloy Repair Centre. This allows us to provide a one-stop shop for all refurbishment requirements and enables us to provide a more streamlined, comprehensive and faster service.
I’m excited about our new association with the Fiesta ST Championship and the 2024 ICCR season ahead. There aare plenty of new drivers joining the grid and who knows, I might even have a go myself before the season is over!”

Leo Nulty, Championship Manager: “It’s great to have a dynamic company like the Alloy Repair Centre teaming up with the Fiesta ST Championship. The class numbers grew once again in 2023 and all signs are that it will be even bigger, and more competitive this year.”

The Alloy Repair Centre Fiesta ST Championship kicks off this weekend at Mondello Park. Tickets are available on mondellopark.ie
