Round 6 of the McLoughlin Industrial Flooring Irish Rallycross Championship will be held on the 23rd of August and will be the 2nd time the Championship heads west this season to Tynagh Co. Galway.

Word has spread about the success of new circuit and already there are a number of drivers on the entry list who will be making their Tynagh debuts. Amongst them are Ballymena man James McVickers in his Renault Clio V6. James went well at the British double header back in June and is keen to get back to put the wide arch Clio through its paces.
Reigning modified Champion, Pearse Browne, will be double driving his BMW Compact with George Tohill and will
Irelands longest serving Rallycross drivers, John Dowling and Jack Lenehan will be out too. The pair have competed in almost every season since Rallycross began in Ireland back in the early 80’s. It’s been rumored that the duo have a combined age of nearly 140 (it would be pushing 210 if you add Tommy Graham into thr equation) but you can be sure they will be pushing hard as always to prove that experience is more valuable than youth when it comes to Rallycross!!!!!!
As always there will be a Rallycar class for those who want to come down and race against the clock. It’s a brilliant way of getting valuable seat time in your Rallycar as well as a great opportunity to play around with set ups and test your skills on a challenging mixed surface Circuit.
